Consumer Affairs: Online Homeschool – many families decide to homeschool their children. This resource provides you a look at companies that offer online homeschool programs.

New London School Readiness Council – the council is dedicated to the mission that all New London children, birth through age 8, are healthy, safe, thriving and successful. Learn about the school readiness program providers and other resources for families.

PBS Parents –  boasts a variety of resources such as fun & healthy snacks, crafts & activities, child development trackers and even birthday party ideas for kids! Check it out!

Playworks – schools can create play environments that help kids be their best. This site helps schools to make the most out of recess and play through free resources.

ResearchIT CT  – is statewide database that is free for all Connecticut residents. Whether it is researching a topic of interest or collecting data for a formal report, researchIT CT can help!

Scholastic for Parents – offers families reading help, activities and interactive learning for children ages 0-13! There are also articles on trending topics such as childhood anxiety, new books or how to become more involved in your child’s education and school community.

211 – a Connecticut community database with health and human service providers’ links to resources such as parenting education and support, family services, healthcare, housing, youth groups & more.

Teacher Library Cards:

The Public Library of New London has Teacher Cards available for teachers who work in New London Public Schools and for people who work at Daycares and Nursery Schools in New London.
