*Tuesdays, April 2nd, 9th, 23rd, and 30th at 4 PM- Teen Poetry Workshop: Join us as we host poetry workshops in the Teen Activity Room in celebration of National Poetry Month! Write your own poetry, check out new poetry, and (most importantly) be creative!
*Wednesday, April 3rd at 4 PM- Reptiles for Teens with Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center: Learn about and meet the creepy and scaly critters of Southeast CT!
*Thursdays, April 4th, 18th, and 25th at 3 PM: Teen Cooking Club- Learn how to cook easy meals for yourself in the Teen Activity Room!
*Fridays, April 5th, 19th, and 26th at 3 PM: Teen Movie Series- Join us in the Teen Activity Room to enjoy films centered around National Poetry Month and STEAM topics!

*Wednesday, April 10th at 4 PM- Dungeons & Dragons for Teens: Join our beginner-friendly D&D game for teens! We’ll have dice and miniatures ready for you to use, just arrive 15 minutes early if you’re new to make a character!
*Thursday, April 11th at 4 PM- Casual Coding for Teens: Learn the basics of coding Python through games!
*Friday, April 12th at 2 PM- Mechanical Mini Golf: Make your own battery-powered golf club and play some chaotic rounds of mini-golf at the library!
*Monday, April 15th at 4 PM- *Zoom* Competitive College Admissions: JLearn tips and strategies for applying to competitive colleges in the upcoming school year with Big Green College Prep of Guilford, CT. Join HERE!
*Tuesday, April 16th at 4 PM- Crane Building with the Society of Women Engineers: Collaborate with other teens and build your own crane out of household objects!
*Thursday, April 18th at 7 PM- *Zoom* Water Harvesting with Harvest Every Drop: MLearn how a high school student developed an environmentally friendly design to capture rainwater over Zoom! Join HERE!
*Saturday, April 20th at 2 PM- Teen Magic the Gathering Club: Learn how to play one of the world’s most popular TCG’s with other teens!
*Monday, April 22nd at 4 PM- Poetry Through Taylor Swift: Learn about poetry through the lens of Taylor Swift’s lyrics in anticipation of her album The Tortured Poet’s Society!
*Wednesday, April 24th at 4 PM- Teen Book Club: A Fire in My Hands: Pick up this month’s selection at the Circulation Desk and join us for a discussion over snacks!
*Monday, April 29th at 4 PM- Teen Manga Club: Fullmetal Alchemist: Join us in the Teen Room for a discussion about our favorite manga series! Read as much or as little as you like, but feel free to bring hot takes, theories, and discussions about your fav characters!
