*Local Author’s Fest

Saturday, March 28, 2020 @ 11:00am

Authors and readers from Southeastern Connecticut are invited to the 5th Annual Local Authors Fest on March 28th in our Adult Reading area!

Local authors from our area will be on hand to talk to you about their books and take photos. Fiction, nonfiction, history, mystery, and children’s literature…there is something for everyone!

Whether you are an author, an avid reader, a fan of local talent, or a community event connoisseur, please stop by and get to know some great local authors. Hear about their backgrounds and latest releases, support the community, and own original signed copies of authors on the rise. For every book you buy, you will be entered to win a prize in our raffle. This is a great event for the entire family.

Food for Fines

September 2020

Have you got a fine on your library card?  During the month of September, you can bring in a non-perishable food item and we’ll erase your fine.  Cannot be used to replace lost or damaged books.

Adopt-A-Book

The library’s annual fundraiser held yearly during winter.  Help the library build their book collection.  We pick out the books, you buy them for the library. We’ll put a book plate in the front of the book and you can be the first one to check it out!

Socktober

October 2020

During the month of October, the library collect socks to be donated to the Homeless Hospitality Center.  Socks are very needed but not always donated.  Help us support our community.
