Celebrate by checking out some books! If your children are too young to read, spend some time today reading to them. It is a great and memorable bonding time and reading is the gift that keeps on giving!
Tuesday, April 8, 10:30AM, Children’s Room: Story Time- Money Smart Week for Kids!
This week’s Story Time will be all about money, money, money! We will read stories about money and create our own currency drawing our portraits on a dollar bill. No registration required.
Tuesday, April 15, 10AM, Children’s Room: Titanic Remembrance Day
Remember the Titanic, which sank on this day in 1912. Check out stories and books about the supposedly “unsinkable” ship.
Tuesday, April 15, 3PM, Community Room: PIG OUT on Reading with Farmer Minor and Daisy the Pig
Daisy the Pig loves to read and be read to! Come hear some pig tales and farm stories with Daisy and Farmer Minor. We will present Daisy with her very own card from the Public Library of New London!
Wednesday, April 16, 12PM-5PM, Children’s Room: Teddy Bear Sleepover Drop-Off
Bring your favorite Teddy Bear or Stuffed Animal to spend the night at the library! Drop your cuddly friend off and we will take excellent care of him or her. Don’t forget to join us for breakfast the next day and pick up your buddy!

Be reunited with your Teddy Bear after Wednesday night’s sleepover! Join us for breakfast with your Teddy Bear and find out about all the things that happened on their night of adventure at the library!

Come enjoy the movie version of Roald Dahl’s classic children’s book, Matilda. Read the book first or just enjoy the movie with us! A truly magical film for the whole family to enjoy! Starring Danny Devito, Rhea Pearlman and Mara Wilson.
